Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW), the future in Fashion, will hold a second model audition due to an unprecedented rush of enquiries from aspiring models interested to be part of Fiji Fashion Week’s 12th year of Fashion shows.
The FJFW office has been inundated with modelling requests from those unavailable for the first audition held last month. Marketing Co-ordinator & Media Liaison, Mr Onisimo Moi said “I am very surprised at the number of enquiries I have received both on social media and phone calls especially after the first audition in December as many were away.”
Auditions will be held on Level 4 of The Yue Lai Hotel & Restaurant (formerly known as Noble House), Bau Street, Flagstaff at 1 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
All models will need to meet the strict height criteria of minimum 5’ 10” or 178cm. The standard dress requirements for both male and female are shorts and white vest and ladies must bring their heels, whilst males wear a pair of casual closed footwear.
“This will be our final model call before newly appointed FJFW Model Manager Mrs Fang Fang Jamnadas and her team to finalize the model lineup. The 12th edition of Fiji Fashion Week scheduled in May, considered to be the fashion month when all the major fashion weeks are held globally, ” Mr. Moi adds.
Whilst FJFW looks forward to yet another huge turnout this weekend, this will add to the recently selected fresh new faces.
