Its Diwali time again, the festival of lights! 

 

Fiji Fashion Week has decided to help celebrate this wonderful festival because it is a time when our women wear the most beautiful, colourful and elegant Saris and their most precious jewellery.  It is a garment that immediately transforms one into a princess. The Saris are usually are so ornate with beading, gold and silver trimmings, sequins of all different colours and intricate borders and embroidery.  The look is exquisite and sensational.

 

We are searching for the woman who best represents this historical and religious event and the true meaning behind it all – a time to give to those who are less fortunate than us.
